year and are concentrating on quality not quantity. We have a host of custom trips booked
throughout the season and decided because of the success of that repeat
business we would offer a limited scheduled trip schedule and put our all into
them. With this being our 10th
season of amazing trips and 8th season in business we want nothing less than to celebrate by designing
and providing the best trips ever utilizing 10 years guiding experience and 10

The Freeridetours Team has been extremely busy! So busy, that I am getting my first update out later than usual. Basically right now the team has been getting some early photo shoots done and preparing for a busy film and contest season.
Ryan and Nick Meyer are our two new additions this season and they have been killing it season with some sick riding. They competed at the Wham Bam Thank You Jam March 5-6 in Portland and both had solid runs. They are currently preparing for the upcoming Sea Otter contests and Saalbach, Austria.
James Doerfling has been building steady and riding hard for another huge season of filming including pist-n-brokes follow up to CKD and Kranked 7. He is also preparing to compete at both Crankworx and Monster Park. He has several upcoming photos shoots and has been teaching kids camps spreading the love for the ride.
Tyler Klassen has just starting building some new trails and is fully recovered. He is leading group rides regularly out of our new shop and plans and putting together his best film segment ever. The game plan for Tyler this year is to put him on the front line and getting him shooting lots of photos and filming. He has become super active with the local ride scene and has been doing an amazing job as an ambassador for the sport. He is also considering a few contests but has his sights set on lots of film work.
Me Chris Glew. Well I just finished building the Bike Brewery a new shop in Abbotsford, BC. We are carrying tons of sweet products and it seems like there was a need for another shop out here. Other than that I having been if even more busy keeping up with the tours and team needs and somehow finding time to work on trails and ride. Now that the shop is open and running I’m catching my stride again and have been riding a lot. So expect and bigger and better year from us. We also should have some very exciting news soon.

New site and a new year

Finally we have our new site up and our new schedule. We will be concentrating on custom trips so just use the trip options as a guide line since we will basically do any trip you desire. Also check out some of the new trip options on the calendar and some of our new guides. Expect some awesome new custom trips coming up this year and we re-iterate that we are keen to offer lots of variations or special twists you may want so just ask.

We are announcing 3 new special trips during the month of July.
Including two 5-day freeride Adventures hosted by Tyler Klassen July 4-8th and July 10-14. These trips are all-inclusive including meals, transfers, guiding, hotel accommodations, and tons of great memories for $1200 CAD
Another option is to do both the Super T trips with a day break in between for $2200 CAD
Also a Special Crankworx trip that includes a 5-day Freeride Adventure and 2 days at Whistler During the Crankworx main events including the Slopestyle competition. We will be staying at some great hotels and will ensure that there is tons of great riding. It’s April now…
Well we hope everyone is having as much fun on their bikes as we are! I can’t get over how many awesome trips are shaping up this season. SO IF THE DATES YOU WANT ARE TAKEN PLEASE CONTACT US ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING AN ADDITIONAL TRIP AS WE HAVE NOW ACQUIRED MORE TOUR EQUIPMENT. Remember every trip is still pretty custom, so it just means that now we can run multiple trips at once. We can’t wait to see and ride with you all.

Not a whole lot to report! We have been busy prepping for the season building trail, finishing our first ad that will appear in the May issue of Dirt, and riding tons. Tours are filling up so don’t hesitate to sign-up.

Well we are definitely over due for an update. Lots to report as we just got back from a team trip shooting with Derek Frankowski, www.frankowski.ca. We’re pleased to announce a relatively finalized list of sponsors including Giant Bicycles, Magura Brakes, Dakine, Adidas Eyewear, Atomlab, Lizard Skins, Bell Helmets, and Race Face Performance products.
We have been riding and building then building and riding. Lately we have all been super excited preparing for the new season as we have lots of new gear, lots of new trails, and a busy season ahead of us. Trips are selling like hot cakes so if you have you eye on one or just have questions don’t be shy cause we don’t want you to miss out.
Our trip took Dylan Tremblay, James Doerfling, and I throughout the interior scoping, shooting, building and enjoying some great new trails that you’ll all get to enjoy in the coming months if you join us. Remember almost every trip is a custom one and we want you to remember that these are your trips and we will do them your way. THE NEW SEASON
Well it’s officially 2006!!! There is a lot going on these days at the Freeridetours Head Quarters – some secret planning and some stuff I’ll drop on you right now. As you know we have a team that includes Dylan Tremblay, Jordie Lunn, Colin “Johnny” Labelle, James Doerfling, and yours truly. Sponsorship wise we are super excited to announce MAGURA as our new brake sponsor. Big thanks to Jimi and Jude at Magura USA for providing us with the best brakes period! Also we are super excited to continue working with Dakine, Bell, and Lizard Skins. A huge shout out to Stewart at Coast Hotels for allowing us to provide you with the best in accommodations! We will be announcing several more sponsors in our next post.
Also I am super excited to be Co-Producing the next KRANKED. Keep checking in for the latest news. The crew and I have been working hard building for the film and for you. So expect some amazing new trails this season.
Were also looking for experienced mechanics to begin in the summer season and work year round for our organization. If you have no actual shop/industry experience don’t even apply. We are looking for fully capable mechanics that can build wheels, overhaul forks, and have a great depth of industry knowledge. Other skills are a huge asset and you should love riding/trail building and so on. The right candidate could lead to involvement with other aspects of this organization including assisting with management, marketing, and sales. Christmas Time

Well Christmas is nearly here and we wish you all a very happy non-denominational holiday. We had a short stint of snow but now it is nearly riding weather again. We are pretty close to having all our team sponsors wrapped up for 2006 so keep checking back for that news. Also the current 2006 team roster includes Dylan Tremblay, Jordie Lunn, James Doerfling, Colin Labelle, and Chris Glew. Also we will be having several guest guides join us regularly including Tyler Klassen, Steve Romaniuk, and many more.
